The team at Affinity are here for you to make sure we are your 'IT Insurance' and will make your technology journey as painless as possible.

Without further a do we'd like to introduce you to the team so you can get to know them a little better.

Colin Beaumont - Managing Director

Colin is our Managing Director and founded Affinity back in 2006 after working in IT since the late 90’s.

Despite Affinity being Sheffield through and through, in his spare time, Colin is a Leeds United fan and is trying to pick up Golf. His favourite chocolate bar is a Caramac and he’s quite partial to a Brandy and Coke!

David Capel - Account Manager

Dave joined Affinity in 2015 and has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and looks after clients from a range of industries.

His spare time is spent with various scooters including two Vespa’s and a Lambretta. An old school Marathon (Snickers to the younger ones amongst us) is his favourite chocolate bar.

David Pearson - Account Manager

Dave joined Affinity as an Account Manager in 2019 and brings with him a wealth of Telecoms and IT experience having been in the industry since 1992! We don’t think he looks a day over 25.

Outside of Affinity Dave’s passion is Rugby and he plays as well as watches. His favourite chocolate bar is a Crunchie.

Elliott Armitage - Account Manager

Elliott originally joined us as an apprentice in 2016 and developed into a fully fledged Account Manager. Although he betrayed us in 2023 and left Affinity, it’s been great to welcome him back to the team.

Outside of Affinity, Elliott is a gamer. You can regularly find him on Rocket league and his favourite chocolate bar is a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Nick Patchett - Technical Services Manager

Nick was Affinity’s very first employee back in 2007. One of our Technical Services Managers he manages the Support Team as well as designing, installing & maintaining IT Systems.

Outside of Affinity Nick enjoys a pint of real ale and has even turned his hand to distilling gin with a friend. His favourite chocolate is a Snickers.
Andy Mackenzie - Technical Services Manager

Andy is another one of our Technical Services Managers and has been with Affinity since 2011. Andy is particularly skilled in 3CX, one of the Telecoms systems available from us.

In his spare time Andy enjoys cooking, music and a spot of homebrewing. His favourite chocolate bar is a Boost.
Jon Swift (Swifty) - Service Desk Team Leader

Jon is our Service Desk Team Leader and is part of the ‘Affinity furniture’ having joined us back in 2008. He makes sure the helpdesk runs smoothly and customers get a timely response to their tickets!

In his spare time Jon likes walking with his dog Norman and loves a Boost chocolate bar.
Daniel Martin - Technical Services Engineer

Dan joined the support team in 2017 and leads with many on-site projects with clients.

After hours he enjoys a game of Snooker and you generally find him at the Spot On Snooker Club. His chocolate bar of choice would be a Double Decker.
Louise Wright - Technical Services Engineer

Another new addition to the Affinity team, Louise and she describes herself as chatty which is perfect for our support line.

Outside of work she loves spending time with her 8 year old Springer Spaniel Odie and especially taking him swimming. Her favourite chocolate bar is a Snickers.
Natasha Barney - Technical Services Engineer

Natasha joined Affinity in the winter of 2022 and is part of our brilliant helpdesk team.

Away from work Natasha likes to produce electronic music and her favourite chocolate bar is a Lion Bar.
Rexley Graban - Trainee Technical Services Engineer

Rexley joined our technical team in the summer of 2022 as an apprentice but has now graduated at Affinity.

Outside of work they enjoy video games and comics and at the time of writing is currently reading through Silver Age, Marvel. Their favourite chocolate bar is a Bounty.
Robin Marsh - Technical Services Engineer

Rob is one of our newest recruits to the Support team having joined us in September 2020 and is no stranger to Affinity having worked with many of the team previously.

Outside of work he spends his spare time in the Peak District walking or climbing. When he’s not munching on wild mushrooms, his favourite chocolate bar is a Boost which it sounds like he’ll need!

Nicky Grieveson - Finance Manager

Nicky has been with us since 2016 and she looks after our Finance and HR operations at Affinity.

In her spare time Nicky does love her shopping and a Bounty is her favourite in the confectionery world.
Helen Beaumont - Accounts Assistant

Helen joined Affinity in 2008 and works with Nicky in the Finance team making sure your invoices are with you on time.

Outside of Affinity in her own words Helen ‘loves hoovering’ and would like to be a ‘product tester for Dyson’. Her favourite chocolate bar is a Milky Way.
